Windy City Sweets was established in 1983 with a vision to create a Willy Wonka type experience for chocolate enthusiasts and it’s been a popular Chicago North side neighborhood destination ever since. Windy City Sweets was named 2017 Best Candy Store by Chicago Magazine and one of the Cutest Ice Cream Shops in the USA by Cosmopolitan Magazine.

Windy City Sweets has over 1,200 different products and we guarantee we have a product to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth. Our one of kind chocolate creations are made on site by our innovative chocolatiers using Windy City Sweets Signature chocolate blend. Windy City’s popular hand made fudge is made on site with only real ingredients. Windy City Sweets searches the globe for the highest quality nuts varieties for your snacking pleasure and we offer a large selection of our world famous ice cream, sorbet and yogurt.

Windy City Sweets has a large gift selection of gift boxes, gift tins and gift baskets. Our Candy Concierges can help you create the perfect gift for a holiday, special occasion or help you find just the right treat to make any day a celebration. You can call or stop in the store and just ask for a Candy Concierge and leave the rest up to us.

We have a full menu of high quality ice cream creations with generous portion sizes - Ice Cream Cones, Malts, Sundaes, Sorbets, Smoothies. We offer ample indoor seating and a cute out door seating cafe during the summer so you can enjoy your ice cream on site or take a hand packed pint with you to enjoy later.
